TAP WARS!

A three-way duel among local brewers

Starting Tonight, June 28th Post 390 kicks off Tap Wars, a monthly battle for a tap at Post 390! Starting with the Monday kick-off event, three local brewers will feature one style of beer, and guests will choose their favorite! Battling in July, Berkshire Brewing Company from South Deerfield, Cisco Brewers from Nantucket, and Cape Ann Brewing Company from Gloucester will serve their own India Pale Ale in hopes of being voted #1. Tap Wars lasts the week: Post 390 will offer the flight of three 6-ounce tastes through Wednesday, June 30th. Those who order the flight earn themselves a ballot to be a part of selecting the winner.

What are they battling for, you ask? A shot at the title of course…well, at exclusive rights on Post 390’s designated Local Tap for one month. And three lucky voters who participate will be invited by Post 390 to the quarterly Tap Wars Beer Dinner in which Chef Eric Brennan will pair four-courses with the brewery who sells the most beer from the local tap. But more on that later. First there is beer to taste – and soon!

When: TAP WARS kicks off Monday, June 28th, 2010 at 6pm

Where: Post 390, 406 Stuart Street, Boston, MA,
