Get Sideways Wine Wednesdays at Ceia

Newburyport's Ceia Kitchen + Bar, located in the Where To Eat Boston "North" Chapter, is introducing "Get Sideways Wednesdays"! A discounted weekly flight trio will be featured, along with Executive Chef Brando's choice cheese pairings for $19. The combo will be offered Wednesday's this fall from 5-7pm.

4th Annual Home Sweet Home Dessert Tasting!



This Saturday, October 22nd, The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) will be hosting their 4th Annual Home Sweet Home Dessert Tasting Event. We are excited to have our very own publisher, Jill Epstein, featured as a Celebrity Judge for the Dessert Competition! Help support the homeless with a night of dinner, dancing, wine and dessert hosted by NECN's TV Diner host Billy Costa! Many of the finest Boston restaurants and bakeries are participating in this great cause, including The South End Buttery, The Fireplace, Henrietta's Table, Harvest, Chocolate Therapy, Kickass Cupcakes and many more.
Tickets are $50 for the Presidents Ballroom (dessert tasting and dancing) and $100 for a VIP Passport (also includes dinner and wine tasting).

Cookbook Dinner at Summer Winter

Featured dishes include Yellowfin Tuna Marrow Tartare with fresh wasabi and nori cracker and Deep Fried Cod Tongue & Cheek with smoked cod roe sauce.

Despite the chill in the air, the Summer Dinner Series at Apple Street Farm is still in full swing and ready to spice up your weekend with a Cowboy Barbecue. L'Espalier's Chef Frank McClelland and Sel de la Terre's Chef Daniel Bojorquez will warm you up with dishes like Mesquite Charred Heirloom Tomato Soup, Grilled Octopus and Texas Ribeye. All are fit for a cowboy and part of the evening's four course meal, which is complimented with a trio of wine pairings.
