What to Drink Memorial Day Weekend

Where to Eat & Drink's publisher Jill Epstein discussed Boston's newest restaurants on this morning's Jeff Santos Show – Revolution Boston 1510AM. Though they ran out of time to share her list of perfect Memorial Day cocktails, here are a few from our favorite local distilleries for your weekend drinking pleasures:
BERKSHIRE ALEXANDER
... (A local take on the classic Brandy Alexander)

2 OZ NEW ENGLAND CORN WHISKEY
1 OZ LOCAL HALF & HALF
.75 OZ WHITE CRÈME DE COCOA
SHAVED TAZA CHOCOLATE
pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
add ice. shake well for up to ten seconds. strain into a
chilled martini or rocks glass.

BULLY BEE’S KNEES
2 OZ BULLY BOY WHITE WHISKEY
TABLESPOON OF HONEY
TONIC WATER
MEYER LEMON WEDGE
combine whiskey and honey. stir until the
honey dissolves. top with tonic water. squeeze
and add meyer lemon wedge.

THE CHARLES BANK
1.5 OZ WIRE WORKS AMERICAN GIN
.75 OZ DRY WHITE WINE
.75 OZ YELLOW CHARTREUSE
add the ingredients to a glass of ice and stir.
strain the liquid into your favorite glass
and garnish with the citrus peel of your choice.

LEMON-BASIL MARTINI
3 OZ V-ONE VODKA
3 OZ LEMONADE
SPLASH OF AGAVE NECTAR
3–4 MUDDLED FRESH BASIL LEAVES
shake and serve straight up in a martini glass
garnished with a lemon wheel
