Starting this Fall, join Jed Hackney for a Chocolate Trail through Boston at the Langham Hotel
The 21st season of The Langham, Boston’s Chocolate Bar begins on Saturday, September 12 with a new theme and under the direction of a new pastry chef. Jed Hackney will lead the pastry team to create desserts for this year’s Chocolate Bar theme, Boston’s Chocolate Trail. This season explores Boston’s famous neighborhoods with a wonderland of chocolate creations.
Here are a few samples of what is in store for you!
- North End: Bittersweet Chocolate Chestnut Mousse, an assortment of Italian Cookies, and Zuccotto, a layered pastry cream and sponge cake.
- Faneuil Hall: Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding, Boston Cream Pie, and Chocolate Maple Pecan Tartlets.
- Chinatown: Dessert Sushi in mango, strawberry, chocolate, and green tea flavors as well as Five Spice Chocolate Soup, and Mango and White Chocolate Pudding.
- Fenway Park: Homemade Crackerjacks with dark caramel, peanuts, and sea salt, Chocolate Covered Peanuts, and Ice Cream Sandwiches.
